Vic recently visited the Cannabis College in Amsterdam (research for the next Rhino movie). He said the experience was "enlightening and fun" and he can't wait to get back.

The Cannabis College is a foundation dedicated to ending the war on the Cannabis plant through education and direct action.

Their most important tool is credible information.

Cannabis College is bringing the truth about Cannabis into the public view, through distribution of literature, public demonstrations and political advocacy.

The hemp plant, Cannabis Sativa, has served mankind for thousands of years.

In addition to its uses as food, clothing, paper, fuel, building materials and medicine, Cannabis is also important for the rituals of many religious philosophies.

About sixty years ago these age old traditions came to a sudden end when a number of big American industrialists, among them William Randolph Hearst and DuPont, saw the threat to their business interests in new industrial potentials of the hemp plant.

Seizing their chance, they used their political influence to put the hemp plant on the list of schedule 1 - dangerous and illegal drugs. From that moment, this prohibition has spread throughout the world due to a relentless campaign by the U.S. government.

Throughout human history no one has ever died from the use of marijuana. We can only conclude that any "dangers" are the result of persecution and prison, which are ruining tens of thousands of lives every year. It is only since the threat to big business interests that Cannabis was listed as an illegal substance.

Working together we can stop this immoral punishment of "marijuana prisoners". For the sake of future generations, it is vital that we act now to heal the environmental, economic and social imbalances created by Cannabis prohibition.

We "Rhinos" believe that there are a core group of movies that are exceptionally funny while viewed stoned. (not that you have to be high while watching these movies, cause we don't advocate drug use.)
